PERSEPHONE, is a three dimensional, free standing collage, made from laminated paper magazine images, and stainless steel hardware. It is a narrative collage, representing the Greek myth of Persephone and Hades. At the center, is Persephone herself, counting down her time in the underworld. The righthand side of the collage represents Hades' palace in the underworld. the lefthand side represents the passage back to the world of the living, and her mother Demeter.
